GROUP EXERCISE
Our two group exercise and spinning studios allow us to feature a variety of popular fitness classes. Getting into shape is convenient with nearly 40 classes offered weekly. These classes include: Quick Fit Cardio, Core Training, Boot Camp, Step Basics, Step Plus, Step-n-Abs, Sweat Shop, Total Body Works, Flex-n-Pump, TurboKick, Yoga, BOSU, Spinning and more. All fitness levels are welcomed!
The group exercise schedule is distributed periodically and may be picked up at the Fitness Center Front Desk or viewed on this website.
Each member must check in at the Fitness Center Front Desk to receive a hand stamp to enter classes. The hand stamp does not guarantee a space in class, it only verifies membership. Our policy remains walk in until full. Please see our complete set of Group Exercise Rules for more information.

GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES
Ab Blast: A 15-minute intense core workout focusing on stabilization techniques and strengthening exercises for the abs, obliques, and lower back toning and strengthening exercises for the abdominals and lower back.
Afro Brazilian: A 45-minute class that celebrates Afro Brazilian rhythm and dances through basic movements, sequences, and simple choreography. This energetic class will leave your body invigorated and spirit refreshed fit for all levels.
Body Ball x3: A 45-minute full body workout utilizing a stability ball, body bar, and barbells. This workout focuses on muscular endurance, core strengthening, balance, and coordination. For beginners to advance levels.
Boot Camp: A 45-minute workout that combines high intensity cardio, plyometrics, running drills, and calisthenics. A great way to stimulate your mind and body first thing in the morning. All levels welcome.
Cardio Blast: A 30-minute (Wednesday) or 45-minute (Saturday) high impact conditioning and interval training class. This fast paced class will improve cardio endurance, speed, and agility. All fitness levels are welcomed as you will work at YOUR own pace.
Core Dynamics: A 30-minute complete core stabilizing, conditioning, and strengthening program. This class will help sculpt your abdominals using stability balls, medicine balls, exercise tubes, and mat exercises. All levels are welcomed.
H.I.I.T: High Intensity Interval Training is a 45-minute workout with intense intervals of cardio activity and strength training using dumbbells, resistance tubing, BOSU, and other props. Designed for all levels and will help you stay in top notch shape.
Line Dance: A quick 30-minute class that teaches you the latest line dance steps suitable for beginners and seasoned dancers.
PiYo: An up tempo approach to mind/body exercise that combines Pilates, Yoga, strength conditioning, flexibility and dynamic balance. All levels welcomed!
Power Weights: A quick 30-minute intense weight lifting and body sculpting class using “heavy” hand weights and exercise tubes. This class is designed to build muscle mass, tone, and lose weight for intermediate to advance levels.
SPINNING: – An intense 45-minute stationary cycling class that simulates an outdoor cycling experience with the foundation of basic cycling movements. We encourage all beginners to arrive at least 10-minutes early for an intro to spinning session on the following days: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
Step Fusion: A 45-minute moderate to high impact workout using an adjustable platform that will be a sure fit for the novice/intermediate stepper.
Step Fusion Plus: A 45-minute workout using an adjustable platform followed by 15-minutes of total body strength training. This class is best for intermediate to advance steppers.
T.E.A.M: Training Exercises and Aerobics with Meka is a monthly class demonstrating various fitness techniques and styles. This 45-minute class will improve your endurance, flexibility, performance, and fitness knowledge.
Total Body: A 45-minute high intensity weight training workout using dumbbells, body bars, resistance tubing bands, medicine and stability balls.
TurboKick: – A 60-minute cardiovascular workout that combines kickboxing and the martial arts through rounds of intense intervals and kickboxing strength/endurance training.
Xtreme Fitness: A 45-minute high energy, non-stop strength and cardio workout designed to burn fat and challenge your endurance using various forms of fitness equipment. All levels welcome.
Yoga/Pilates: – For all levels, a 60-minute class that incorporates the foundational asanas (yoga postures) as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. Benefits include increased strength, flexibility in muscles and joints, improved focus and stress relief.
Cardiovascular Conditioning Recommendations
(Recommendations based upon National Institutes of Health Guidelines)
Frequency: 3-5 days per week
Intensity: 60 - 80% of maximum heart rate
Time: 20 - 60 minutes
Type of Exercise: Continuous movement exercise
